Well who does not know namma Vasanthi in Bangalore? She is known as Sunshine Girl here in Bangalore for her cheerfulness. She lightens up the city (specially for those who are stuck in the traffic) with her breakfast show on Radio City. Now she is all set to attend ‘Salzburg Young Global Leaders’ Summit which aims to envision how the world should look by 2030. She will be representing us in at Salzburg.

GaaDi bula rahi hai…

I will be on ten day vacation to Rajastan visiting Jaisalmer , Pushkar ( Yup Pushkar Fair), Ajmir and Jaipur. I am sure going to get hundreds of pictures and lot of videos from Pushkar and Jaisalmer. This will be my first visit to Thar deserts. I am all charged up.
I am going to post series of stories from Rajastan this time. I will try to live blog from the fair. I heard food along the train journey is awesome. So for sure there will be some posts on food. I am planning on running at the Bangalore Marathon scheduled in Dec 07. I am running this marathon in an effort to raise awareness about the development issues in India and for funds to support CRY- Child Rights and You.
CRY is a non-profit organization committed to bringing about sustainable and equitable development in India, by working with grassroots organizations across India.I hope you would support me by making a generous donation to the cause.

New community portal

Check our new community portal http://community.eventsbangalore.net/. Its fast, its very usable, its community oriented and its wiki based. We have reviews of resturants and hangouts.
